Altgaia
Altgaia is the name given to the the dimension assigned to the position of -1 on the multiverse stack. As an odd-numbered dimension, its base consists of temporal mass, with significant amounts of magic flowing through it.
Properties
Altgaia is toroidial (doughnut-shaped) planet, however, only the outermost strip of the torus is inhabited. The gravitational field of Altgaia causes its atmosphere of approximately 68% nitrogen and 30% oxygen (with 2% other gasses) to clump around the equator of the planet. The inhabited portion of Altgaia extends about 8,000 km away from its equator in both directions. The average radius of the hole in the centre of Altgaia is exactly 10,000 km (which is the definition of the unit) and the radius of the bands themselves is approximately 40,000 km.
Astronomy
Altgaia orbits the origin. That is, the torus rotates about the origin point. It is tidally locked to the origin, which means the same point on the surface of Altgaia is always over the origin. The exact point itself is located in Altgaia's atmosphere.
Satillites
Altgaia has two natural satillites, its sun and its moon, exactly directly across from each other. Both orbit at a distance of approximately 400,000 km away from Altgaia's surface. They orbit with a period of exactly 24 hours, giving Altgaia a regular day and night cycle.
Both emit light, but the sun is orders of magnitude brighter. The sun consists entirely of elixir and combusts it at high temperature in arcane fire to produce light. The rate at which elixir is consumed this way is estimated to be a negligible amount, perhaps around 100,000 mana worth per day, as the magic fire is capable of sustaining itself through the use of the ambient magic radiating outwards from the origin. Over a period of exactly 365 days, sun's energy output increases and decreases following a sine wave, which is what causes the seasons on Altgaia.
The reason why the moon emits light in the patterns that it does is currently unknown and a subject of exploration.
